What happens
if it snows?
QuestFest has three venues and each one decides independently
of the others whether or not to close because of snow.
Any cancellations will be posted on our homepage.
If Towson University is closed, the Center for the Arts is also closed, and
our shows at Towson will be cancelled for the day. To find
out if Towson University is closed check their website at www.towson.edu or
tune into Baltimore area radio or television news. Because
Theatre Project is easily accessible by public transportation, it takes a
lot of snow to cancel a show there. Creative Alliance will decide on snow
cancellations by 6 AM for morning performances and 2 PM for evening performances.
There are no refunds in the case of a snow cancellation but you can exchange
your ticket for another performance at the same venue. To make
an exchange call the appropriate venue, make a reservation, and present your
old ticket at the Will Call window the day of the show. Exchanges are on a
space available basis. For new reservations call:
Towson University Center for the Arts: (410) 704-ARTS
Theatre Project: (410) 752-8558
Creative Alliance: (410) 276-1651
What is a Talk Back?
A Talk Back is a twenty minute post-show facilitated discussion with audience
members and the artists. If you have a ticket for a different performance
of the same show, bring your ticket and the usher will let you into the
Talk Back. Sign language interpretation will be provided.
Will interpreters be provided for performances?
Sign language interpreters won’t be necessary. All performances will
be fully accessible to deaf and hard of hearing patrons without
interpreting. Performers communicate information, relationships and emotions
through movement such as traditional mime, dance, sign language, and gesture.
Video or multi-media projection may also be used. Spoken foreign language
in productions will not be interpreted into spoken English.
