More than 16,000 students attend this vibrant university located only 8 miles from downtown Baltimore. Internationally respected for its commitment to the arts and culture, Towson’s newly renovated Center for the Arts will serve as the hub for much of QuestFest where three theatres and 5 rehearsal spaces will accommodate festival performances, master classes, and workshops. Faculty, staff, and students from Towson’s Department of Theatre Arts and Deaf Studies Program work closely with Quest staff to plan and implement QuestFest.

Located in downtown Baltimore and sharing the neighborhood with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Lyric Opera House, Theatre Project is committed to the presentation of a diverse array of original and experimental theatre, music, and dance. Since 1971, Theatre Project has sought to nurture those artists who are actively experimenting with new forms of expression and support both performers of international reputation and emerging local companies creating new work.

One of the largest and most acclaimed professional theatre companies in the metro Washington, DC area, Round House Theatre has been recognized nationally as a center for the development of literary works for the stage. Based in Montgomery County, Maryland, Round House Theatre produces nearly 200 theatrical performances each season at its 400-seat Bethesda theatre and 150-seat black box theatre in Silver Spring. The company operates an education center in Silver Spring and annually reaches over 40,000 patrons there and across the region with strong educational programs.
