Based upon Rainer Maria Rilke’s poem The Lay Of The Love And Death Of Cornet Christopher Rilke and adapted to the stage by Quest’s Artistic Director, Tim McCarty, I Carry the Flag follows a young soldier’s surrealistic and haunting journey into war. Originally directed by McCarty in Vienna, Austria in partnership with Arbos Theatre, I Carry the Flag melds live action with digital media in this American premiere featuring members of Quest’s internationally acclaimed Wings Company.

Quest Productions is internationally recognized for its innovative work in visual theatre and its leadership in welcoming people from diverse backgrounds. Performances have been called amazing, maddening, thought-provoking, and visually-rich.
