The University enjoys an international reputation for the outstanding graduate programs it provides deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing students, as well as for the quality of the research it conducts on the history, language, culture, and other topics related to deaf people. In addition, the University's Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center serves deaf and hard of hearing children at its two demonstration schools and throughout the nation by developing, implementing, and disseminating innovative educational strategies.

Internationally respected for its commitment to the arts
and culture, Towson’s newly renovated Center for
the Arts will serve as the hub for much of QuestFest
where three theatres and 5 rehearsal spaces will accommodate
festival performances, master classes, and workshops.
Faculty, staff, and students from Towson’s
Department of Theatre Arts and Deaf Studies Program
work closely with Quest staff to plan and implement QuestFest.

the neighborhood with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
and the Lyric Opera House, Theatre Project is committed
to the presentation of a diverse array of original
and experimental theatre, music, and dance. Since 1971,

community-committed, young arts organization.
