 Alonzo's Lullaby

Nana Projects
USA

Production PhotoMadness, passion and sabotage are intertwined in the newest show by Baltimore based visual alchemists, Nana Projects. Inspired by the Hagenback-Wallace circus train wreck of 1918, Alonzo’s Lullaby is a luminous, richly-hued, shadow puppet play for adults, with original score performed by singer/songwriter ellen cherry. Funded by the Jim Henson Foundation.

Nana Projects is a Baltimore based non-profit company of visual alchemists inventing innovative artwork blending puppetry, performance art and public spectacle.

Nana Projects peformances have been seen at the Orlando Puppetry Festival (Orlando, FL), John Michael Kohler Arts Center (Sheboygan, WI) The National Puppeteers of America Festival (Atlanta, GA) the New Orleans Fringe Festival, and at the Creative Alliance (Baltimore, MD) and on giant outdoor screens in Patterson Park (Baltimore,MD).
